I grew up being obsessed by all things martial arts, warrior cultures and strength. Heavily inspired by Bruce Lee, Jackie Chan, Dragonball and Tarzan, I immersed myself in training and moving in as many different ways as possible. At 17 years old I joined the Royal Marines where I forged a resilience and a never-give-up mindset that I’ve carried into everything else in life.

After leaving the Marines I pursued my dream of training Kung Fu in China and spent time with my teachers in both the villages of Hong Kong and at the Shaolin Temple.

In my mid 20s I discovered Tai Chi Chuan which clicked together martial, movement and Taoist principles and philosophy. It has become a whole way of being.

I have had the privilege of training under many great teachers and mentors and draw inspiration and methods from Oldetime Strongmen and physical culture.
